Flat roofing in Slough and London
Felt stripped and replaced, GRP fibreglass, or EPDM rubber — chosen for the roof, not a habit.

A flat roof fails at the edges more often than in the middle. Outlets blocked, a kerb too low, felt blistered against a wall. We strip failed felt rather than coating over a wet deck, unless a survey shows the deck is sound and a coating is the honest fix.
GRP fibreglass suits a lot of rear extensions: it can be worked around pipes, parapets and roof windows. EPDM rubber is the better sheet when the roof is a simple rectangle and you want fewer joints. Torch-on felt still has a place on garages and some commercial decks. We say which one and why before you pick from a brochure.
The photo on this page is the kind of finish — a GRP deck, a drip edge and a roof window kerb — not a claim about a named house. Send the photos of yours.
